Antonizing on acoustics is the process of having Anton's Musical Instrument Repair, set your instrument up properly.  On Acoustic guitars this process includes adjusting the nut for correct height on each slot, truss rod adjusted to correct relief, and the saddle adjusted to create the absolute best action and playability. New strings are installed and the fingerboard and bridge oiled, tuning machines tightened. If other problems are found ie.(a high fret or two) the customer will be contacted and options discussed.       
Intonation on most acoustics is close. If it can be brought in closer with minimal work it is included.  Customer can either supply their own strings or I keep in many types which can be chosen.   

Antonizing on Electric Instruments is the process of having Anton's Musical Instrument Repair, set your guitar up properly. On Electric guitars this process includes adjusting the nut for correct height on each slot, truss rod adjusted to correct relief, and the bridge saddles adjusted to create the absolute best action and playability. Intonation is also dialed in correctly.  Intonation on most electric guitars and basses can be very accurate and is included.  New strings are installed and the fingerboard and bridge oiled, tuning machines tightened. If other problems are found ie.(a high fret or two) the customer will be contacted and options discussed. Customer can either supply their own strings or from my stock.  Any parts and materials including strings, frets, nut, saddle, are in addition to price quoted.  Shipping is not included. 

The process of properly leveling the frets, removing any string wear and making sure the frets are all the same height. Then each fret is crowned (the edges are rolled) so the strings ring clear when played. They are then polished to mirror finish so when playing, the strings move freely as they are fretted and bends made. This process is performed on instruments that are well played and worn but also on new instruments.  Most manufacturers do not spend a significant amount of time on this process resulting in new instruments only playing okay.  Couple a fret level with the Antonizing service and it's like enhancing a Chevy to perform like a Porsche.
